The Ruby Mane Creative Team beat competition from 200 salons across the UK to make it to the finals of the Schwarzkopf Professional Creative Competition 2014.
Sarah, Vickie, Kay and Tom competed alongside 15 other salons in the grand final which saw groups of four present their take on Spring/Summer 2014 trends.
Each team had to present four different looks – including one hair colour and one male look – within a tight four-minute time limit at the prestigious event in Manchester.
Ruby Mane’s team presented Punkettes, a modern take on the rebellious 1970s punk era. They married softer and more luxurious colours whilst retaining the attitude and individuality of the punkette. They blended floral, tropical statement jewellery with technical knowledge and the brilliance of the Schwarzkopf hair colour range to deliver eye-catching looks.
The male model was styled in Paul Smith using press studs and zips in place of buttons. The female models showcased feminine colours – rainbow prints with pops of pinks and fluorescents inspired by the Chanel Spring/Summer 2014 collection.
The Ruby Mane team performed really well and we are very proud of them. The crown went to Identity Hair from Northampton with a military-fused take on rock n roll.
