Aduma says: “When our family friend, Summer Cubitt, was suddenly diagnosed with Lymphoma, I wanted to do something to help. Her parents have been so impressed with the Piam Brown Unit in Southampton Hospital, that I felt supporting this unit was the most direct way to make a real difference.
“If the unthinkable happens and any of us get diagnosed with blood cancer, this pioneering hospital ward is where local young people will go to be treated and supported.”
