Thank you to everyone who helped make our Charity Day a success – so far we have raised £2539 and more donations are still coming in (and are very welcome!)
Lots of clients booked in for blow dries and rather than paying for them, they made donations to our chosen charity, the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Staff members made cakes and we served Pimms and bubbly, played games such as Guess How Many Sweets in the Jar, and held a raffle.
A big thank you also to local shops who donated prizes and made donations. They include Carocoli, Optical Studio, Andre Noir, India Jane, Candy Twist, Neals Yard, Jones, Colours, and Alison Townsend.
Our Charity Day followed on from our Military Assault Course so we showed a video of the event and displayed blown-up photos of the team undertaking this massive challenge.
